The three large groups, choir. and the girls and boys' glee clubs, have a combined membership of 175. As a money-raising project the choir had its second annual Community Birthday Calen- dar. In connection with the instrumental section of the school music department, a 500 Club Concert Series has attracted fine attendance and approval. The choir averages 25 public appearances each year, including a TV appearance on KGLO. The choir also presented its third annual Christmas program over KGLO radio on Christmas night. This makes our second year in Class A contest competition. All four ofthe large music groups including the concert band received Division 1 rating last year. 51
