Only girls who have had at least one year of high school 'home economics may join. Aptly headed by president Io Conn, their activities this year included a bake sale, a card sale, and a gala Christmas party. Every year the F. H. A. sponsors delegates to district and state conven- tion.

Standing - Lowell Hinsch, Linda Kotz, Mr. Weaver, Patty Christensen, Roger Claesgens GUY Watson. The Semper Fidelis Chapter of the National Honor Society was organ- ized in 1931 under the sponsorship of Miss Catharyne Chamb-ers. Its purpose is to create enthusiam for scholarship and a sincere desire to serve the school, promote leadership, and to develop character in the students ot Clear Lake High School. Membership in this group is based on the four cardinal objectives: scholarship, service, leadership, and character. The members are selected by the faculty from the upper one-third of the junior and senior classes. Initiation is held twice a year, in November and in March. Business and social meet- ings are held the second Wednesday of every month. The officers this year are Ianice Olsen, President: Grant Wright, Vice President: Linda Kotz, Secretary: Miss Chambers, Treasurer: Miss Chambers and Mr. Weaver, Sponsors.

A. is an organization of farm boys who take vocational agriculture. The aims of the organization are to develop leadership, to practice agriculture, to encourage members to improve the farm home and surroundings, and to encourage and practice thrift. Each member has his own productive project which is designed to improve his financial standing. He also has a project which will improve conditions on his own farm. The chapter has projects which are carried out by all the members co-operatively. The group is current- ly renting a 68 acre farm and selling garden seeds to make money for the chapter.
