HONOR SOCIETY I am myself the guardian of honor -Rowe Seated - Grant Wright, Mary Io Conn, Margaret Monughenf lUl1iC9 Olsen' Miss Chambers, BeV91'1Y LDU9 senberg. Standing - Lowell Hinsch, Linda Kotz, Mr. Weaver, Patty Christensen, Roger Claesgens GUY Watson. The Semper Fidelis Chapter of the National Honor Society was organ- ized in 1931 under the sponsorship of Miss Catharyne Chamb-ers. Its purpose is to create enthusiam for scholarship and a sincere desire to serve the school, promote leadership, and to develop character in the students ot Clear Lake High School. Membership in this group is based on the four cardinal objectives: scholarship, service, leadership, and character. The members are selected by the faculty from the upper one-third of the junior and senior classes. Initiation is held twice a year, in November and in March. Business and social meet- ings are held the second Wednesday of every month. The officers this year are Ianice Olsen, President: Grant Wright, Vice President: Linda Kotz, Secretary: Miss Chambers, Treasurer: Miss Chambers and Mr. Weaver, Sponsors.
