Four ot the players received recognition for their out- standing playing. Bill Tarr was elected to the first team in all conference and also was awarded honorable mention in all state. Bumps Wright was selected for the second team all conference. Butch Ashland and Gary Pattschull received honorable mention in all conference. MIKE MOELLER: Senior guard. Mike Was deadly with his shots near the bucket and a quick thinker on floor play. IACK ZOOK: Senior center, lack's first year in basketball was tremendous. As tall man on the team he earned a starting berth soon after the season start- ed. He alw ' - ays played his hard BOB MEAD: Sophomore forward. Bob will make Coach Mully happy in--the next two years with his excellent shooting and re- bound ability LYLE STUNKARD: Senior guard. Lyle could always be counted on to do his best. He was a good play maker, floor man, and led the team in tree-throw shooting all season, 65 BILL TARR: .Senior guard. Al- though one of the smallest men on the squad, he was high scor- er for the team and also deadly on rebounds. He was an excel- lent ball handler and dribbler, and was chosen by his team- mates as 1954 captain.
