HONOR SOCIETY The chapter ot the National Honor Society, the Semper Fidelis Chapter, was organized in 1931 under the sponsorship of Miss Catharyne Chambers. Its purpose is to create enthusiasm for scholarship and a sincere desire to serve the school, to promote leadership: and to develop character in the stu- dents of Clear Lake High School. Membership is based on these tour cardinal truths. The members of this organization are chosen by the faculty from the upper third of the junior and senior classes. New members are initiated twice a year in November and in March. Social and business meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month. The officers this year were Marcia Watson, President: Corine Ashland, Vice President, Mary Borvig, Secretary: Miss Chambers, Treasurer. Miss Chambers and Mr. Weaver were the sponsors.
