The Home Economics Club, which has been recently organized initiated its new members by requiring that the typical homemakers garb and equipment be worn for one day ot school. The year's events included: Christmas caroling, a cosmetic party, a tatfy pull and a picnic. The Home Economics girls have Won Homemaking honors twice during the short time they have been organized. This year's float in the Homecomming Parade won second prize. The float was a huge box of Lux Flakes and bubbles depicting lt Lux with us, We'll Win . PC2 PC2, the physics and chemistry club is under the direction of Mr. Charles Edwards, science instructor. The Club- is affiliated with the Iunior Academy of Science of Iowa. The aims of this club are to promote the interests of science and give its members a chance to increase their knowledge and develop skills in science. There were twelve members this year. Each member had their own project. The meetings were held on Wednesday evenings in the science room. A special program was presented at each meeting. Any junior or senior with a B or above for one year in science is eligible for membership. The officers of the group were lim Wright, president: Alberta Heitland, vice president: Lucille Bruchner, secretary: and Allen Erickson, treasurer.
