HONOR. SOCIETY Our chapter of the National Honor Society, the Semper Fidelis Chapter, was organized in 1931 under the sponsorship of Miss Catheryne Chambers. Its purpose is to create enthusiam for scholarship and sincere desire to serve our school, to promote leadership and to develop character in the students of Clear Lake High School. The members of our Honor Society are chosen by the faculty from the upper third of the junior and senior classes. New members are initiated twice a year, in November and March. The officers are: Margaret Newman, president, Dorothy Wedeking, vice president: Ioann Steege, secretary: Marjoirie Baum, program chairman: Miss Chambers, treasurer. Mr. Weaver and Miss Chambers are the sponsors.
