RE DSTTKITNT ' 54 fl orc ocie-ly The Greek symbol of progress cast its bright, unwavering gleam over the students of th Cle Elum High School during the year 1930-31. The one aim of the majority of the students is to become a full-fledged member of the society and a wearer of the Torch honor pin The principal object of this organization is to establish a standard which the students might strive for and attain by virtue of good scholarship and recognized ability in student ac tivities, and to encourage good fellowship among the students endeavoring to better themselves in the pursuit of knowledge Each year the Torch Society has contributed some school service. Last year it presented the student body with a trophy cabinet, and this year the members elected to publish a hand book containing useful information concerning various school organizations, clubs. rules, yells and songs.
