Through six years We have grown and matured. One man has al- ways been there to watch us. To us he is more than a teacher or an advisor. He is a friend. He gave of himself, which is the most anyone can give. We are part of his life and he a part of ours. Here is a person who cared enough to help us through those trying adolescent years. Time has shown what he has meant to each of us. Here is a man, Mr. joseph Berdosh Agn fill -Q pf f 0 1 , G, fx! 4 j A, .4 -. We began to see problems in our school and set out to correct them. Classes Went into the Halloween float pro- jects With a desire to Win- no matter what the cost. This led to problems. But more than problems, understanding was created, and a lesson was taught- and learned. .Flin .mmm 92' ff We returned to the opportunity of an educa-- tion. An education that gives us a chance to question, to learn, to do, to experience. EX- perience that gives us a chance to grow, to think. What can reflect these experiences more than a face? The Future Teachers Club of America has come a long Way in the past year. ln her first year as our advisor, Miss Dominiano and the club tried some new and interesting ideas. The club members got a taste of what it is like to teach when they took days off to observe the grade of their choice in the ele- mentary school. Discussions after the observations brought up many varied aspects of teaching as a career. The future teachers held their annual book fair in December. This proved successful. The teachers in our school benefit greatly from the club by having the members as Teacher Aids. The girls were busy visiting col- leges throughout the year and helping their treasury grow by having various sales. Other ac- tivities planned were a dinner to honor the teachers of Clayton High and to give a 55100. OO scholarship to the most outstanding member en- tering the teaching profession. . Owens, D.
