Class Histor A seed is aimlessly blown across an open field. A sud- den spring cloudlourst drives the seed into the earth, there taking root in the rich soil. With the help of God's sun and water, the seed sprouts its first sign of life and con- tinues to grow, winding upward toward the sky. Or a seed is planted by the hand of a young boy, kneel- ing over his garden as he eagerly buries the seed in the moist soil, or it may be planted by the modern farmer's machine which shines in the sun as it mechanically distrib- utes the beginnings of life. , . as 1
