DONALD EDWARD ADAMS ROBERT DONALD ADAMS NANCY CAROL BALASI Academic Don may not be an Albert Einstein in his school work, but on the football field he's all pro. For this reason, he was wisely chosen as co-captain of our football squad this year. High on the list of his close friends 'rank Jean, Tommy, Jake, and Krud. After graduation, Don hopes to become a state trooper. Football i, 2, 3, 4, Co-Captain 47 Track t, 2, 3, 47 Auto Club i7 Varsity Club 37 Gym Club 2. However it is done, the process remains the same. Nature does not alter her ways . . . I2 Academic ln every Clipper Hi-Lites you'll find our sports' section skillfully written by Bob. By turning to our sports' division you too can witness some of his handiwork. Away from his typewriter, however, you'll find him with Sandy. After his years at C.H.S. Bob will continue to be a sportswriter. Tom is a great asset to our class since he is a member of the football squad, Mu Alpha Theta, Honor Society, Key Club, and Vice-President of Student Council. Saturday nights during football season rank high on Tom's memory list. He hopes to goto college. Commercial Nancy is known as Rabbit -something that wiggles its nose. She has a smile known among all her fellow students. Nancy has ably served our class as treasurer for three years. In the field of sports, Nancy has been a great asset to the hockey squad. After graduation, Nancy plans to become a successful airline stewardess. She is always seen with Barb, Barb McColgan, Terry, Karen, and Pam. Class Treasurer 2, 3, 47 Hockey 2, 3, 41 Pram Committee 37 Float Attendant 3.

FRANCIS MICHAEL BASTOW Academic Fran is still counting the bruises that he received from 'fCool Cliff in his sopho- more Algebra ll class. Because of his love for the wild , he has been ap- propriately nicknamed Vultch. Among his friends are Dan and Pete. Fran plans to become a professional hermit someday. Bond l, 2, 3, 4, Glee Club 3, 4, Dance Band 3. FRANCES ANN BARCELO Commercial Peggy, who is always ready for fun, hopes to study in the field of success and hap- piness. The summer of '62 and winter of '63 are important to Peg. She tells her latest gossip to Mary, Pam, Betty, and RlCl'tle . Science Club l, Newspaper Club 2, 3. JOHN HENRY BAUMAN Academic J. B., our model of dependability, has successfully led our class for the past three years as president. ln his iunior year, John was given the honor of attending the annual Boys' State. During this time, he was elected an Assemblyman. Taking time out from his studies and duties, however, he enjoys having a game of golf. John plans to go to college in the fall and enter the diplomatic service afterward. People, too, must be nurtured, in the same manner as that of a seed . . . KENNETH PATRICK BITTLE Commercial Ken will never forget the fun he had during the summer of '62. His neat ap- pearance and friendly smile are reasons for his many friends-the best of whom are Charles, Bill, and Bob. His blond, curly hair and personal appearance will long be remembered by our class as we reminisce through this book in years to come. Ken sees work with the C.P.A. in the future.
