Castleton 21 Varsity Basketball reigned supreme in Clayton High School during the year of '31 and '32. The Varsity broke even in games, winning ten and losing ten. The B team was victorious in eight of eleven games. The Varsity was composed of two seniors, one Junior, one sophomore and one freshman. The boys showed true loyalty and sportsmanship throughout the year. Suits and jerseys were furnished by various clubs of Clayton. We wish to thank our coach, Mr. Fisher, for his splendid support and backing. GIRLS' BASKET BALL At the beginning of the second semester the girls' basketball team was organized. Fourteen girls came out for the squad. Mr. Benson and Mr. Scott were coaches. The team was handicapped by having to practice on a much smaller fioor than those on which the regular games were played. In spite of difficulties, the season was considered successful. The girls wish to express their appreciation to those making this activity possible.
