Fourth Row- Lester Franklin, Alton Franklin, Mr. Benson, Sponsorg Donn Beadle. James Johnson. The Junior Class of '32 had a definite view in mind when the school year started, which was to succeed. We started full force with twenty-eight members. At the first of the year we chose the officers who were to serve us for the coming year. They were: Clyde Ludlow, President, Leona Hodshire, Vice-Presidentg Donn Beadle, Secretary, and Esther Mitchell, Treasurer. For Sponsor we chose Mr. Benson, who has many times proven his worth in that capacity. On Sept. 27 we sponsored for the benefit of the public, a lawn festival twhich was held indoorsl. This proved a success. We contributed several members to the Tennessee Minstrel that was given in November. Lunches were served at various times throughout the year to make money for the outstanding event of the year. On Feb. 27 we successfully presented our Junior Play Who Wouldn't Be Crazy? We are particularly proud of this accomplishment which proved to be highly entertaining. The outstanding event of the year was the Junior-Senior Reception, which consisted of a theater party, then a banquet and entertainment at the Lumley Tea Room in Indianapolis. On the whole this year has been far more successful than any other year in High School for us. We hope to make our last year the best. -11- A ,M ...palm ll li f 1 l 1 r 4. Six of the minstrel cast were members of our class and We had three entries in the local reading contest. We have been active in various programs which have been presented during the year. Miss Shields entertained us with a dinner at her home on the first night of the County Tourney, then enough of us went to the game that we were co-winners with the Senior class, of the attendance contest.
