Dave Minor led Clay by scoring 31 points and grabbing 42 rebounds. Due to a large amount of snowfall, the players stayed in Peru that night. On Saturday Clay up-ended an undefeated North Caston team 59-56 by a great team effort. Four of five boys were in the double digits with Oldham and Fye leading with 14 points each. Minor contributed 13, Zody 11, and Rickard 7. The greatest reward of all came in the evening game. Clay beat Peru 62-51 with a great victory seeing Terry Fye col- lect 25 points and leading the way with terrific support from Minor, Oldham, Zody, and Rickard. Clay out-rebounded a big Peru team and held Tom Scott to eight points, which was considered a terrific defensive job. We were certainly proud of our boys, cheer section, and fans.
