Aileen U'Cratly. and Nlr. Donald l'urs-ell. ENGLISH One day. during my leisure, I deeided to roam down to Ed Smith's room to liorrow a eouple of good hooks. After hearing my request with a slight suggestion of a twinkle in his eye, he handed me a c-opy of H7716 Works of Plato. I looked at him quizzieally, hut accepted the book. Proceeding down the hall clutching my hook tightly, I eouldn't resist peeking into 227 where Dr. McGuire was expounding on one of his favorite subjects. Eustaeia Vye. Lost in thought I eontinued my travels almost humping into a moving stack of papers whieh turned out to lie Dr. O'Crady, who had just hnished collecting her freshman English elassls notebooks. Reaching Mr. Pureell's room I found that genial gentlemen promising to give a carrot to any student who eould define the word preeis. Later, peering into Miss IIiekerman's room, I found her deeply engrossed. Realizing that she didn't want to he disturlied. I slid down the railing to the first Iloor. I peeked into I22 where, amid the hulrlvulm of the Blue Illlll While homeroom, Miss Boylan has elleeking some graphs ol the aetion in Mrzclnfllt. Leaving l22, I turned to the right and found Miss Saueris room. That lady was dramatically deserilming her eareer as an exehange teacher. Later. I stopped to speak to Mr. Kinder about a eourse in study skills. Soon afterwards, I met Mr. Donnelly, who was rushing to his next class. Ifinally, I made my last stop at Miss Cornellis ofliee. She encouraged :ny growing interest in literature. After meeting these fine teaehers. I found ini interest in literature greatly aroused.
