MR. LLOYD M. ESTES, PRINCIPAL Our Principal, Mr. Estes, is new to us, but he is not new to Classen. He previously served Classen for thirteen years in the capacities of teacher and Assistant Principal. He has also served as Principal and Assistant Principal of several Oklahoma City schools before returning to Classen this year. After receiving his diploma from Moore High School, he went on to Central State College to earn his BS degree. Since receiving his masteris degree in education at Oklahoma Univer- sity, he has taken many additional courses offered by various colleges. We're glad to have you back, Mr. Estes! Handling discipline problems, maintaining attendance records, and organizing student activities are the major duties of our Assistant Principal, Mr. Ralph Risdon. Mr. Risdon received his BS degree from Central State College and his master's degree from Oklahoma Uni- versity. He received an Associate BS Degree from Connor State Junior, College. Mr. Risdon has gained much experience as a counselor, coach, and Assistant Principal. He has accomplished a great deal dur- ing his three years at Classen. gourd of Sducafiou DR. JACK F. PARKER Superintendent Working without remuneration, the Oklahoma City Board of Education establishes the policies of the Oklahoma City Public Schools. These policies are carried out under the direction of Dr. Jack F. Parker, Superintendent of the Okla- homa City Public Schools. The members of the Board of Education - have taken time out from their other duties to help formulate a school system that ranks high in the nation. The Board consists of four members serving for a term of four years and a member at large serving for two years.
