NOISE AND CONFUSION coming from the direction of the auditorium met Classenites as they came back to school this fall. Workers swormed here and there, and curious onlookers were asked, told, and pushed away from doors, windows, and other pos- sible means of seeing what workers were achieving. The result was a beautiful, modern auditorium for the use of Classen students. an - :ff ..r- it -: 5 THE SALESMANSHIP of every Classen student was put on trial when Chuck Wagon time rolled around. Everyone was busy running here and there selling tickets to raise money for various departments of the school program. The students were not only performing a service to the school, they were also in competition with each other to win the title of high salesman and the prize that went along with it. Two students ran such a close race that they were both given a prize, a long play record album. 5.1--' 'Wann nc, 3 i Carolyn Cook and Ken McNeil were the winners. YOUR NAME and grade pIease, says Mr. John Holt, summer counselor at Classen. A small troop of teachers spent the summer changing schedules and enrolling new students.
