MRS. LAUCYLLE HINES and Mrs. Julia Booher are the gals who keep the office 'running smoothly for running anywayl. As Mr. Cheney's secretary, Mrs. Hines has her hands full handling school correspondence and inter- cepting calls that shouldn't be bothering the principal anyway. Mrs. Booher's principal responsi- bility is attendance. Students who cut consistently land they are few at Classenl will tell you what a miserable time they have try- ing to out guess her when she calls home to report their ab- sence. f 'kt 'XQ was gi, 'TM m,1,f2Qj .N .LV. ' MR. ROBERT B. CHENEY is completing his third year as principal of Classen High School. His job has been a particularly trying one this year, operating the first semester without an auditorium or meeting place for the whole student body to get together, and trying to adapt the school schedule to coincide with the TV sched- ule, as well as facing the thousand and one problems of administration that confront the principal of any large high school. i i , ji DR. BILL LILLARD, assistant principal, is heard every day during fifth period making the daily announcements, This is his noisest job, but cer- tainly not his biggest one, Dr. Lillard supervises attendance, discipline, and the daily operation of the schedule, He spends a great deal of time trying to unfoul things that always seem to go wrong in the school's everyday operation.
