Restless Guns Take Over Classen swf' .- ' PLEASE, BUY A YEARBOOKY Maybe Jonny Blalock wouIdn't plead so hard it he knew Fran Evans had already purchased an Orbit. OH NO, MONTYI lt isn't fair to stuff the ballot boxl When the time came to choose our Student Council President for '57, '58, we found it a hard decision to make. After the ballots had been counted, Monty Hoyt wore the smile of the victor. Here we see the candidates stuffing the ballot box, democracy at work! They are: Monty Hoyt, Jon Barrett, Sherri Miller, Nancy McNatt, and Tim Allen. A NEW FEATURE has been added to our line of royalty this year. The Clossen Life sponsored a Man of Distinction contest. The five finalists were: Steve Collison, Jon Barrett, Harry Holcomb, Fred Dalton, and Jack Hayden. Jack Hayden was too distinguished to even be in the picture, so he was excluded.

However, even with all the rest- less guns floating around, casualties were low, and everybody recovered in time to beat the teachers out of the building. 1. 7 THE NIGHT the Clas- sen Comets downed the Central Cardinals by a score of 4l to 40 was a time of rejoicing at C.H.S. Fred Warner, the hero for the night, was swept to the shoul- ders of the crowd and carried off the court. Your Orbit photogra- pher just happened to be around with camera in hand to catch this picture,
