CLASSEN'S PEP CLUBS were on the ball this year. They not only supported the teams by cheering at all the games and pep assemblies, they also hon- ored the boys at a football and basketball banquet. Our clubs grew, and our school spirit took a big boost. Thank you, pep clubs! You've done a great jab, 4 f' ALL EYES are on the new queen as Watson Scott, Meteor president, fastens the queen's necklace on Sherri Miller. Nancy McNatt, former Meteor queen and her escort, Jon Barrett, are waiting patiently to present Sherri with the traditional queen's coat. SCALP REDSKINSY This was the war cry that echoed through the halls of C.H.S. before the Capitol Hill game. Classen was proud of her pigskin heroes, and the student body was right on hand to let them know about it.

OH NO, MONTYI lt isn't fair to stuff the ballot boxl When the time came to choose our Student Council President for '57, '58, we found it a hard decision to make. After the ballots had been counted, Monty Hoyt wore the smile of the victor. Here we see the candidates stuffing the ballot box, democracy at work! They are: Monty Hoyt, Jon Barrett, Sherri Miller, Nancy McNatt, and Tim Allen. A NEW FEATURE has been added to our line of royalty this year. The Clossen Life sponsored a Man of Distinction contest. The five finalists were: Steve Collison, Jon Barrett, Harry Holcomb, Fred Dalton, and Jack Hayden. Jack Hayden was too distinguished to even be in the picture, so he was excluded.
