I managed to make it to all the mixers and banquets and dances held around here. Wfhy, those Blue Jackets and Meteors nearly wore me out with all their socials. I,ve never seen so many beautiful girls in my life. Well, you can see for yourself. ,Iust look at all the girls who were honored as queens. I think all Classen girls are queens in their own right, whether or not they have a title under their name. All this work with the Orbit staff has really made me take another look at our school publications. Ever meet a deadline? Wfell, it's no fun. All that last minute tension. Next time I see a Classen Life, Iim going to read it from front to back and I'1l really appreciate it. Maybe I should try out for cheerleader. Yea team, fightlv Think I'd be a good one? I sure do like to parade across that stage. Like the Mad Wfomanu or the ghost in Green Valleyf, My style instrument is a tuba. Ever see me in the pep band? Operettas are right down my line, too. I sing a little off key but they let me in the chorus anyway. I spent Christmas vacation in Mexico City, hobnobbing with the peons. Thirty-three of us went down on a chartered bus. It sure did improve my Spanish. You can see all this keeps me pretty busy. It's a rapid race. But I wouldn't be happy anyplace else. Here at Classen we really enjoy our fun -but we know how to be serious, too.
