TAYLOR DR- C' Principal, Classen High School EORGE W-B RU CHER Mr. Taylor, who is serving his seventh year as principal of Classen, has the con- fidence of both the faculty and student body. His never-swerving loyalty to the school and its organizations have given all a sense of security and devotion that is found in few high schools. Together with Mr. Brucher and Mr. Estes, they have formed a team that fallible in adjusting and maintaining at- tendance, discipline and other problems. is in- YD M.

Working without remuneration, the Oklahoma City School Board establishes the rules and policies of our city schools. This group of prominent business men have taken time from their own duties to help formulate a school system that ranks high in the nation. They are, left to right: Mr. John Pearson, Jr., Mr. R. Lewis Barton, Mr. Ira Williams and Mr. C. B. McCray. Mr. Vernon Beals, president of the board, is not pictured. s DR. FRED W. HOSLER This is the second year Dr. Hosler has been the superintendent of schools in Oklahoma City. He has the reputation of being one of the iablest educators in-the th t He came to this city from Allentown, Pennsylvania where he had gained sou wes . national prominence. He has the interests of the teachers and schools foremost and has attempted to make our school system one of the finest in the country.

DUANE WEINERT Below: It's more pleasant to smile than give out time, agree Imogene Vincent and Mary Biswell. Cffice Personnel The clearing house for all of Classen is of course the office. From getting admittance slips from Mrs. Biswell to checking in activity money to Mrs. Mat- thews, the office is always ready. Mrs. Matthews is secretary to Mr. Taylor, Mrs. Alley registrar, and Mrs. Biswell and Mrs. Vin- cent attendance officers. Relaxin for a few minutes well E deserved rest are Clara Alley and Laura Matthews. Librar The library is a familiar place to all students, even if he visits room 120 only to find the thin- nest book the night before book reports are due. Under Miss Cockrum the library answers the need and demands of all the school. It is a complete and ever growing source for any field of learning. RETHA WAVE HULET Counselors To gain the confidence and respect of all the boys and girls is an easy task for Mr. Weinert and Miss Hulet. They help every student in any personal problem that may arise in school life as well as advise and coun- sel as to the choice of colleges for each Classenite.
