Ana Speak Me 7 language With Spanish speaking neighbors to the south, and distances to other countries shortened by air travel, we found an increasing value in the study of languages. Th.-n, too, it was fun to chatter with our friends. We were able to choose Spanish, French, Latin, or German- and some of us studied more than one language. Oral and written use of foreign languages illustrat- ed by films and recordings, gave us an appreciation and under- standing of other peoples and cul- tures.
