The strength and vigor of our nation is borne on the faith and expectancy that sing from the hearts of her young people. A breath of a song wings through these brief pages-a song filled with youthful ioyousness and faith in the pro- mises of the future. Let, then, our song be as full as are the hearts that inespire it. Let us realize that, No cares can ever o'er take us . . . as long as our spirits are tuned to a hope- ful key. Ever let us cling to that buoyancy which, itself, is the brave spirit of an America that can never die. CLASSES

Principal Classen has been fortunate in having Mr. William Taylor serve as its principal for the past two years. Gracious and kind, yet gravely intent upon making Classen one of the great high schools in the Southwest, -Mr. Taylor keeps a steadying hand upon all that's doing here among us, To him we give full measure of high praise. 'lf Vice-Principal A familiar figure in Classen halls these many years is Mr Charles E. Grady. This is Mr. Grady's second year as vice- principal, and his time, divided between executive duties and coaching our winning debate teams, has been of utmost value to Classen High School.
