lnlaorfunifg kr reafneaa The Orbit staff this year presents as its theme Opportunity for Greatness because it believes that the coming years offer that opportunity as no other time in the history of the world has ever offered it. This is our chance-most of us will not obtain fame, for one can only become famous when many nameless men support him: but all Will have the opportunity to be great. We are aware that many of the days which lie ahead will be filled with sorrows and painq but in these very circumstances We will find our opportunity. Not the nature of the event but the use made of the experience determines the end. What happens to a man is not so important as what he does With what happens to him. These are the things We must learn. It has been said that great ships require deep Water. We have before us an ocean in which We can prove ourselves to be strong or Weak. This is a challenge to us. We must build our ships to stand the highest Waves. We must prove that we can be great.
