life They may be crazy but they have a lot of lun. When it comes ro the Classcn Life staff, this is more rruth than fiction. During the past year the staff has broken all records for eating. They eat anytime .mtl all the time, Three eatin' parties have high- lighted the year. Mary Wilbnnlts, Margaret Benton, loyce Hoyt and Mary Woods were the suckers. One added attraction to the slaver of 'ournalisui has been Y the lunior Press Association. This club arranged interviews for budclin 'ournalists and members were admitted to concerts on their l press cards. The celebrities included Richard Crooks, Albert Spalding, Louis Lochner, Ieanette MacDonald, Fulton Lewis, Ir. and the Russian Ballet, ln the picture at the upper right, Mary Wilbanks, editor for the second semester, has decided that Spring is here at last and has moved the typewriter out on the lawn. Shorty Theresa Enders, at the right, dips into the paste por and starts making-up the Life, She was editor during the fall semester, . At the lower Ieit, Thomasina Dyer, associate editor for both semesters, is learning all about the intricacies ul the hnotype machine. '-Siatafofzffaczq Each year Cklahoma City students, chosen by the various schools, take over the city and school offices for one day. During Father and Son week, which is also National Education week, these chosen ones reign supreme for one dav. Classen pupils filled four major city offices and four administrative positions. Ierry Potter, upper right, was head custodian and members of the football team helped him carry out his duties. Dick Gibhens and Charles Schramecla, in the next picture, served as president of the school hoard and city engineer. Lois Woodaird, lower right, had charge of thc clinic and because of all the male visitors, she had to take some of her own medicine. Grinning in the middle, below, is Kelly Vxlest, who filled hlr. Sturnfs shoes as principal for :x dai: The problems of a director of secondary education were thoroughly discovered by Ruth lane Long when she filled that position during the week of November 8-I4.
