The ouistanding activities at Classen this year have been in connection with Red Cross drives and the sale of War Stamps and Bonds. These included the all-soldier review and the Victory King and Qlgeen contest. The all-school mixers have been more popu- lar this year than ever before and assembly speakers have included Crown Prince Otto and Archduke ,Robert of Austria.

Hell Hounds Sweetheart Carlene Kueffer became the first Hell Hound sweet- heart when she was presented with a yellow satin jacket at the annual preview following the Classen-Central foot- ball game. Ray Biggerstaff, president, and Don Best presented the jacket and introduced the nominees. They were Gwen Darby, La Veta Nozrkes, Iune Donnelly, Harry Lou Stat- ford and Genevieve Purnell. 1 lflflaifjorie flrnolcl . . Blue jacket Queen lwlarjorie Arnold was crowned as the 1942-1943 Blue Iacket queen at the annual Thanksgiving dance, Nov. 28. The ceremony included a kiss from her escort, Ioe Hoff- man, president. She received the traditional white velveteen jacket with Blue Jacket Queen across the back and her name on the front.
