It has general authority over all school affairs, and is subject only to the approval of the sponsor and the principal. The council is composed of eight members. These include the president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer of the school: and the presidents of the sophomore, junior, and senior classes. The otiicers hold their positions for the entire year. The representative council mem- bers are elected for one semester only. The executive council forms a part of the student council which is composed of the executive and representative councils. The three class presidents and the vice-president of the school also are members of the Discipline committee, which is under the authority of the student council.
