Participated In Annual Fair Parade The Clarksville High School Marching Band played the school song. THE 1970 CHEERLEADERS Lela Hausler represented the VOE. High-steppers were Carlene R. and Debbie H. ■■I Elizabeth King and Jana Kay, mascot, sang the Alma Mater. Nancy Underwood promoted spirit through making posters. Tiger Spirit Appeared in Pep Rallies! Jack Puckett tells it like it is. 79 He has that Tiger Spirit. This Is Your Life, Coach Smith ... Elizabeth King. Debbie Brem, and Coach Smith. If we could only yell ... so It is a sad pep tally for the seniors. Billie Lois and Tevis are named Miss Pep. Peggy jumps a herky. They just were not meant to be majorettes. • l Homecoming Festivities It is not all play, Kathy Holley sold a mum to Terry Cheyne for the Junior Class. Work, work, work; Juniors delivered mums. Mayor Isbell and cheerleaders backed the Tigers during homecoming. 82 The pep squad formed a crown and the band played in honor of the homecoming nominees. The Mayor presented Linda with a charm bracelet and the announcement envelope. The Queen and her driver. Jerod Peek. S3 The Spanish Club placed third in Parade. 85 Students Danced to the Music of the Museums. C.H.S. Took a Look at Drugs Mr. Hale, Mrs. Scott, and Lesa Risinger attended drug education ses- sions in Mt. Pleasant. CHS students discussed drugs during rap sessions. Two drug addicts from the federal correctional institution tell it like it is at the assembly on drugs. 88 Economic Classes Traveled to Dallas Mr. Morris's economic classes visited the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and the General Motors Assembly Plant. Students toured the Federal Reserve Bank. Very interesting. 89 Bridge Over Troubled Music poured from the souls of Dry Water. Water Was Used as the Theme. That certain sound brought everyone closer together. 91 Juniors Honored Their Fellow Seniors. Even Larry Booth with a sore foot couldn't resist the great music. WAIH F11 soon be a senior. This was just my third time. Great Sounds Were Heard From First State Bank. People was sung by Paula Varley. Debbie Brem sang the theme, We’ve Only Just Begun. James Slaton, Linda Weaver and Patsy Westfall welcomed Mr. George Sunkel. Mr. Sunkel was guest speaker at the OEA-DECA Banquet. Outstanding band members were announced at the Band Banquet: Sophomore, Marianne Bean; Freshman, Cindy Johnston; Eighth Grade, Ann Prater; Junior, Milan Hughston; Senior, Anthony Ford. The band played a novelty version of Little Brown Jug at the Band Concert. Marianne Bean was soloist.
