The Science Club works to stimulate interest in science. Each year this club spon- sors a Science Fair in which elementary, junior high, and high schools participate. Paris Junior College gives a scholarship to the senior winner in the high school division. The band performs at all football games. Many of the members play in the All- Region, and some, in the All-State band as a result of try-outs for this honor. Mem- bers participate in solo and ensemble contests and play for civic organizations. The band enters playing and marching contests each year in competition with other bands in our region. A formal concert is given in the spring.
