To Bill Beaumont we leave Lucile Blue's Garbo bangs. 3. We bestow upon Cates Anderson Mildred Davenport's Hoptown boy friends. 4. Upon Susan Durrett we heap the laurels that the various members of our noble class have won in speaking contests. S. To Anne Kleeman we leave Rebecca Stephens' continual fluttering of eyelashes toward men in general. 6. To Riggs Hayes we leave Jack Hudson's wit QPQ and may he use it as Jack does-at any time, at any place, and under any circumstances. 7. To Buddy Malone we leave Cecil Morgan's tackle position on the football team, whether he wants it or not. 8. To Wesley McBride, we leave Evelyn Randle and Lucy Bardwell's com- bined sweetness and good disposition. 9. To Virginia Pace we leave june Beach's poise, composure, and femininity, and instead of playing catch WITH the boys-play-Catch The Boys. 10. To Billy Bumpus we bequeath the whole-hearted wish of the Purple and Gold staff for his future literary efforts. ARTICLE III Upon the Freshmen, we, as their elders and protectors, appoint Bryce Run- yon to act as their champion in the woes, worries, and heartaches at C. H. S. TO THESE FRESHMEN we bequeath a few of the habits and traits- of the following beloved members of our class: 1. We appoint Mr. Howard and his gruff voice as the guardian of Juanita Dozier during her coming years at C.H.S. QMaybe that'll keep her in the groovej. 2. To john Livingstone we leave Margaret Turrentine's friendliness and at- tractiveness, and may he use them on girls as she did on his brother, George. 3. To Pat Shepherd we leave George Freeman? reducing machine. 4. To Madeline Winn we bequeath Annie Lee Burnet's method of acquiring many friends and few enemies. 5. On Maryanne Boillin we bestow Buna Rudolph's quiet and unassuming nature. 6. To Roy Matthews we give Charlie Runyon's LINE Qand we hope he does better with it than Charliej. 7. To Rita Mowery we will Mary McReynolds' disposition Qit's perfectl, pep, and personality. 8. To Mary F. Howser we bequeath the Senior girls' wish that she take care of the boy friends left behind. X 9. To the lowly Freshman class, we. the Seniors, leave the wish that they may soon acquire the brilliance, dignity, culture, refinement, and ambition of their elders. 10. As a parting shot, we throw at Jean Draper from H. Marshall the supreme ambition of getting out of this school.
