Whether it is her classroom where sparks of learning are kindled, her corridors where laughter bubbles, or the playing field where enthusiasm grows contagious, each individual con- tributes a part of himself to the spirit of C.H.S. To these students, whose activities we have recorded during the year, we dedicate the 1960 Legatus. Vagwwg guard wad 4, M Q S-x., Spawn Wavfded Zeus!! What can I leave behind now that The world is calling me? 4' 'Y 6 I can't stay any longer here, The time has come to seek Whatever life intends for me. What can I leave to speak Of things I saw, of things I did, Of things I heard and said? What can I leave behind me now To stay here in my stead? When I go forth from here, there will Remain a part of me: A part of all I've been and Of all I'll ever be, A part of all I've thought and felt-- My gladness and my tears, The victories, the losses, and The silences and cheers, The hopes, the disappointments, too,- For everything's a part, The beauty and the plainness, and The hardness and the heart. I make my legacy of these, They are the things that I Shall leave behind now that the time Has come to say good-bye. .. .
