Clarkston Gridders Record Three Wins Coach Paul Rakow began workouts early this year at the Deer Hill Farms training camp and hoped to shape a team that would perform to its capabilities during encounters on the field. The squad was in good physical condition when the season opened and had high spirits for the oncoming games. The Wolves were beaten in their first two outings but bounced back to upset a strong Bloomfield Hills Andover. Other victories were recorded over Clarenceville and Milford. League and county honors were given to Bill Svetkoff, Rich Butler, Mark Warren, Bill Hamilton, Dan Taylor, Chuck Chamarro, and Dave Foster. Team honors went to Mark Warren and Brian Leak.
