SDPHOmORE CLASS The Sophomores were well represented In all sports this year. The boys were all out for football, basketball and are looking forward to baseball. We were fortunate in having the manager of the football team taken from our group. The girls were well represented on the G.A.A. and bowling teams. We had charge of the Halloween Dance, “The Jack O’lantem Jump, with the help of the Clarkston Rotary. For entertainment we had the WJR Goodwill Barn Dance, putting on a stageshow and afterwards furnishing the music for dancing. All in all the Sophomores had a bang up year and are looking forward to just as eventful a Junior year. fisito When you hear names being called to the office or students getting a scolding, don’t get in a stew-it’s just the freshmen. Although they’re expected (and usually are) to be the black sheep of Clarkston, we strive to do our best. We sponsored the Valentine Dance, “Heartbeat,” and I am glad to say we made a good profit on it. We owe our thanks to Mary Jane Beattie and Joice Carte for their splendid art work for decorations. We thank Miss Campbell for helping us through our freshmen year because we know it wasn’t easy to lead a class into high school.
