Watson PRESIDENT • SECRETARY Dean Anderson Shirley Crosby THE CLASS OF “48” The class of “48” began its Junior Year with 59 members which gradually decreased to 55 members. The Juniors started out the year with majority in Student Council, and they also made a noticeable enlargement on all of the sport activities. A Carnival Dance was put on by the Juniors in November, This was the first dance of its kind ever held in Clarkston High School, The Junior play, “Snafu” was given five weeks later than expected on May 2. It was directed by Mrs. Clark and the student director was Shirley Crosby. All of the cast showed unusual ability in acting out their parts in this modern comedy. The Junior Senior Banquet was held May 9 and was enjoyed by all. The Juniors took an important part in school activities this year and they hope to do even more next year when they become “Mighty Seniors”.
