The regions 5AAA meet again brought out the best in our boys with the top teams being Clarkston, Avon- , dale, Marist and Westminster. Several iitti If members qualihed in the state AAA meet and represented our school well in competition with the best in Georgia. This was the 3rd year in row the track team Hnished at the top in Region 5AAA and all of the team members it A should be congratulated for their ef- forts. Some of the returning Trackies are Ayesha, Alvia, Tynetta, Monica and Kandee. Some of the fresh faces are Kym, Dominique and Connie. Our Star Athlete is A yesha Ivey. We are looking for Tynetta, Tameka and Monica to break old records in the 440, 220, and the long jump. This year's competition was very difhcult as We Went against Avondale, Marist, and West- minster in the 5AAA meet.
