Colepand, M Hodges, D. he B-team football team completed its fourth straight Winning season with a record of 4-2-1. Many players gained valuable knowl- edge and experience as they prepared to become varsity football players. The teams third game of the season against Shamrock, proved their potential and teamwork With a score of 26-0. Another example of their hardwork is the 21-0 Win over Avondale.

Can- he eighth grade football team had a very successful year establishing the first Clarkston undefeated season with a 6-0 record. This yearis group was a very dedicated one from beginning to end. Many hours of hard work were endured to begin their Clarkston football career. Thirty-eight young men were willing to make the sacriHcies necessary for a successful football team. This was one of the larger teams in several years, both in number and individual size. The Angora offense also established a scoring record of 180 points K3 0 point ave. I with a game high of 58 against Avondale in the season Hnal. Outstanding members of the offensive unit were: Allen Clemons, Jeff Hughes. Roy Smith, and Tim Whiseran t. The defensive star players were: Chris Hitt, Ricky Northern, and Rick Monazzi. Several young men were very valuable to the team and played both ways: Dennis Edwards, Charlton Molik, Brian Hurley, Robert ONeal, Richard Spierto, Brett Maddox, Brent Maddox. All of the members of the team should be congratulated for their efforts. We certainly hope these young men will continue to improve in their football endeavors and con tribute greatly to the Clarkston Football Program.
