The girls spent their time every da y after school practicing for their games on Saturdays mornings. The girls on B-team were the little sisters to the Varsity Drill team and encouraged them and wished them luck with enthusiasm and spirit. No matter how many people at a B-team game, the B-team Drill team always cheered their team on. Although there were only three, the 1984 majorettes this year were as spectacular as ever. With feature twirler Tasha Dempsey, the crowd was always amazed. Freshman Tami Goforth and iunior Stefanie Forrester were the other twirlers who added so much pizzazz to the halftime show. The rifles had another wonderful season. Even though there were only two, Karen Spates and Kris Ann Leach, the two girls had just what it took to look great on the Held. Their skill and co- nrdination with their riHes dazzled fans and ad- ded just the right touch to make a successful half- time show. The 1984 Rifle Corp members were: Karen Spates, Natalie Patton and Kris Ann Leach.
