Under direction of Ken Miles, their new instructor, the band was well on their Way to a superior season. The field directors, Tim Whitehead and Billy Sherwood were always on top of things and were noted for their strip tease and duet in Morstache. Due to the spirit and ability ofthe band, the people ston can once again be proud of Band Of Gold. They performed some very unique routines this yeary espe- cially their Let's Go Crazyv at the first pep rally of the year. Under the supervision of spon- sor Dana Parlcins, captain Leslie Lee, and co-captains Laura Brown and Sally Rowell, the Varsity Drill Team captured the attention and admiration of the studen ts and spectators at every pep rally and half-time show this year. Congratulations Drill Team on an excellent ,84 season! Drill Team sponsor, Dana Par kans once again had a reward ing season.
