LVIDEU IELUULV s this year comes to an end, we share again the tradi- tion of another successful yearbook. In this book of remem- brances, we will be able to look back in years to come of all the things that happened during the 84-85 school year. The memories of occasions shared, goals strived for, the fun and games, the de- feats and triumphs will always remain. Our friends and acquain- tences are the people who will always be the most dearest, the teachers who we looked up to the most, will always have a special place in our hearts, the person we shared a locker with, the group of people we sat with in lunch, the boyfriend or girlfriend for best friendj, who knew our deepest thoughts these are the people whose impact on our lives will live forever! But as the year comes to an end, let this book be special. Everytime you open the 1985 ANGORA, let it begin the year again and relive these special memories. For making this annual the best we have even had, speciai thanks goes to the whole studenl body, the teachers and adminis- tration, and the ANGORA Staff But special thanks goes to a per- son who has proven to be more than a teacher . . . who has taught us the meaning of life ana how to strive for our goal that We are working to reach. A new addition to the Royal family in Britain, Prince Henry Charles Albert David was the second to be born in to Prince Charles and Princess Diana. Mick Jagger became a father at the age of 42, but refused to be- rome a husband. And an Atlanta rouple gave birth to the first twins to be conceived in vitro. There were many tragedies to be remembered as the year ended. There was the death of Martin Luther King Sr., the fa ther of the late Martin Luther King, Civil Rights leader. Andy Caughman, of Taxi and the famous soul singer-writer Marvin Gaye, also passed away. Another singer who died this year was Ethel Mer- rnan. Irvin Shaw and Truman Capote were two well known writers that passed away within the year also. Ansel Adams, 82, one of Americas best known photographers died during 1984. There were two actors that we will all remember for years to come. One brought us many laughs on the high comedy show, Cheers, Coach Nicholas Collas- ton. The other actor was Richard Burton, who was once married to the well known actress Elizabeth Taylor. From triumph to trage- dy, and to the new additions, we will remember many of these people for years to come.
