B Team Basketball Cheerleaders LE T'S GO ANGORAS! hat's it like to be a cheer- leader? Another pep rally, another game, is my hair alright, always busy. Theylve had to accept the agony of defeat and proclaim the thrill of victory. I t's a hard job to get a small crowd Hred up on an early Saturday morning with your team down by six - but this group of girls did not lose hope un til that last buzzer. Their dedica- tion and support made the season more enjoyable for everyone in- volved. Front row: Christa Walker, Beth Duncan, Carol Oran, LeeAnn Sparks fcaptj, Michelle Allen lco-captj, Tameka Fabors s the basketball season opened this year, Clark- ston fans saw bright, new faces cheering the teams to victory. Under the leader- ship of capt. LeeAnn Sparks and, co-capt. Michelle Allen, the eighth grade squad added a great deal of spirit and pep to the basketball games. They Worked hard and donated alot of time to making goodie bags and perfecting cheers and chants. All of their long hours practice were evident in the Hne performance of this squad throughout the season.
