Presented by the I'L Ui K S(I V CO LLI!II ) POTSDAM, NEW YORK Senior Class of OF TECHNOLOGY SQHW Ill'lllllilll To a man whose unselfish devotion to Tech and Tech students has earned him the respect and admiration of every Techer, Dr. A. Raymond Powers, we humbly dedi- cate this issue. We hope that this yearbook will serve in some small way to express our appreciation for his service to ourselves and to those who have graduated before us. Since joining the Electrical Engineering Department Faculty in 1911, Doctor Powers has unstinlingly given of his time to the many students who have sought his counsel. His wide range of knowledge has served to guide students through tribulations far beyond the range of pure aca- demic problems. His lectures will long be remembered for their combination of sound advice and salty commentary. It is particularly fitting that this book is. dedicated to Doctor Powers, head of the Electrical Engineering Depart- number of Electrical Engineers in the fifty-five years of Hr. L R.
