Between its covers you will find a record of school life from September l, l955, to May 24, T956-events and people that will never be forgotten. May this book serve as a guide down Memory Lane in future years! In our efforts to produce this annual we would have been lost without the guidance of Mrs. Annie See Sparks and Mrs. Ruth McCain. They were with us every step of the way-explaining, encouraging, advising, guiding and helping us in the presentation of your annual. To the advertisers, whose financial backing has been invaluable, we are deeply indebted. They boosted our annual! Let us show our appreciation by patronizing them! Last but not least, photographers, you were superb! It is your pictures that have made this annual come to life! May each CHSter treasure this story of the 1955-56 school year, and may each of you hold fast to his hopes and dreams!
