T.R. and S.R. | a. ial S.A. 5 Cathy Scott Beth Rosser Renee Hester Sandra Smothers Elementary Yearbook Salespersons Yea book Staff Edirors Laurinda Taylor Erika Willls Assisranr Editors Sherry Cannon Tammy Davis In Memory Of Willie Parker The staff dedicares this yearbools to Willie Parker who passed away on Augusr 30rh, 1980. Willie was 17 years old and rhe son of Mr. and Mrs. Herberr Parker. I don't know how Willie affected the lives of other people, but he certainly played a big part in my life. | had Willie in my class for six years. | believe that Willie taught me more about people and life than | ever taught him reading and math.” | may have taught Willie how to multiply, but he taught me patience. | may have helped Willie with reading and spelling, but he helped me to accept people and love them as God made them. | may have shown Willie how to fill out a job application, but he showed me how to put more joy and laughter into my life. I think of Willie as a “Special Gift from God’, and | thank God for the six years that | had Willie. : | pray that we never forget the special gifts that Willie gave to us, and that we in turn pass on these blessings to others as he passed to us patience, love, and joy. ‘(Eos aa, FACULTY Miss Thelma Morgan We Thank You For Forty Years Of Dedicared And Unselfish ' Service To Education And The Children Of Our Community. 4 Superintendent And Principal Assistant Principal Basketball Coach Hi gh School Boys Jr. High Girls Driver Education Teacher Biot set an- E Westport Charles Weatherford, Treasurer- im. | Secretary Janice Vestal Teacher's Aide Willa Dean Crain Clerical Aide Marilyn Williams Teacher's Aide Annie Lee Crum Sherry Buchanan FACULTY Reading Sponsor: Cheerleaders Glyn Burton Science and Math Sponsor: Senior Class Dianna Becker Special Education Wr 7, Phyllis Carden Spelling-Reading Guidance Counselor Advisor: Beta Club Sponsor: Senior Class , Theresa Donald Primary Betty Hart Kindergarten Chuck Flowers Agriculture Advisor: FFA Sponsor: Junior Class A.D.
