The evening of our Prom is here And school day’s end is drawing near. Tonight we’ll laugh and dance and then. When evening’s coming to an end. . . We’ll form a magic memory Of good times spent by you and me. 79 [UfiE 197 (2[a±± J zofifiEay AS SEEN BY THE 1979 SENIOR CLASS SHIRLEY JACKSON will support the World’s Largest Smile after winning the 1981 Bubble Yum Bubble Gum contest. WANDA ALLEN and hubby will win Emmy awards for their soap opera called “Where’s Wel- don, Wonders Wanda.” Fast talking MELVIN ALLEN will run a flying saucer shop. JANETTE PRITCHARD will live in a shoe and have so many boyfriends she won’t know what to do. Knowing of Lee Major’s retirement, we predict that KENNY ARNOLD will replace him as The Six Million Dollar Man. ALESIA RAINEY will, out of her own need for fixing fenders, invent a “Nerf” car. JANE RUSH will soon discover that an “Apple” a night in Jackson won’t keep the doctor away. KEITH ATKINSON will invade Carter Country with his milk and cookies. BRENDA WALL will have her own computer matchmaking service. Her slogan, “Don’t Sit Home and Squall, Call Wall.” HAL BOYD will go on to win a Larry Paul Harris look alike contest. VALERIE WILLIAMS will answer the burning question of whether or not she’ll turn to a life of crime and become a “Luter.” DANI JACKSON will become a brilliant attorney and give the common citizen a new service, a Public Complaint Desk. Her slogan is “See Jackson — Get Action.” KIMMY JOHNSON will begin his own basketball school called “Kimmy Kay’s Way to Play.” We foresee ROSEMARY RUSH publishing her own cookbook called “Fat’s Not Where It’s At.” MARK MILAM will have his own special “Sock Factory.” PAULA SMOTHERS, alias “Gater Woman,” will wrestle her way to fame in the swamps of Westport. Soon after graduation JIMMY SPITZER will become owner and manager of Tennessee Pipe ind Supply Company. In 1987 GLORIA PARKER will become the Carroll County Judge and continue her lifelong stay in the Court House. JOHNNY TUCKER will manufacture Blows Bubble Gum. VICKY will become rich in the shipping industry. Her company may be called “Blankenship’s Battleships.” In the near future, TONY UMSTEAD will become an Olympic boxer and the first match will be in Rose’s Garden in Westport. KIM BLOW will replace Sarah Tucker at Tucker’s Inn. We are undecided as to CELENA CARTER’S future. She will either start a Kangaroo Farm and raise little “Joey’s” or a gun factory and make “Cannons.” One day BRYAN WILLIS will own his own gas station entitled “WORMS — DO IT YOUR- SELF.” TONI EVANS will do the world a great favor. Seeing her own need for speed, she will invent a pair of jet propelled shoe skates. MARTY WOOD will win numerous hunting trophies by pretending to be Woody Woodpecker. We foresee SHERRY HART becoming famous for her breakfast food “Sherry Hart’s Pop- Tarts.” Very soon now SYLVIA HILLIARD will replace Doris Boyd by winning the title of The West- port Queen. Using her past business experience, CAROL HUTCHERSON will become new manager of the Frontier Club. 80 znio% I. VALERIE WILLIAMS, will Tony Johnson a new toboggan to replace his old ones.
