Clarksburg I High School NSTRUMENTAL MUSIC-Miss Terry, graduate of Department of Music of the Nashville Bible School, an able and efficient teacher, will be in charge of our musical department. Some of our in- terested and enthusiastic patrons have devised a splen- did scheme to arouse an interest in some of the departments by offering the following prizes. -'- -'- -'- -me-li'-'E' Prize No. 1-Mr. Tom Jamison offers a prize of 35.00 in gold for the best speller in a public spelling match to be held Friday night October 273 1916. The contest is open forall the county and may be entered by sending your name to any of the teachers on or before noon, October 27, 1916. i2?'H'?J'?' I Prize No. 2-Mr. W. J. Brecheen offers a prize of 35.00 in gold for the best temperance speech which is made from the platform in Clarksburg High School building on March 16, 1917.
