.Aga-1 W fi 3 M -4-'Y X .afar SENIOR CLASS HISTORY ln 1910 Qmy how can we remember so far backlj A group of dents entered during the next six years Finally we were graduated to the Hlgh School building where we became the seventh grade During the two vears in seventh and eighth grades we became acquainted with our school and also with the teachers We all loved Miss Carpenter and do you knovs ' she loved some of us sometimes' So atter struggling through two years we found ourselves Joining the ranks ot the underclassmen of the High School Upon entering High School as the Freshman class we found that we had ninety members Many of these were from near by towns We at once bec mme a big problem because of our SIZQ being about the largest that exer entered Clarks Summit High School Our class was socially inclined so we held a weiner roast at the home of Ruth Barron Many ot ou1 class went out for track and several played on the basketball teams We held a picnic at Lake Winola on the last day of school Remember the whip and the terrls wheel' When we returned in September as Sophomores we discovered that our large class had decreased in numbers but at the same time new stu dents had entered The class was divided into two sections with Miss Baxter and Miss Lewis as home room teachers At the first business meeting the tollowlng ofhcers were elected President James Young Vice President Beniamln Lesh Secretary Ruth Barron Treasurer Joe Moran lt seems that our greatest pleasure was the annual weiner roast so we had one at Charles Pearce's home. Our Sophomore boys began to show wonderful possibilities as future football players because Bert Decker, Bud Mirtz and Jerry Roche already played on the Varsity. Always a hard working class UD we appreciated the vacation time which soon had rolled around. A new group of teachers filled the ranks when we returned as Juniors. Miss Copenhaver, Miss Escott, Miss Schwab and Miss Parry were new faculty members with whom we soon became acquainted.
