Her motto seems to be B, silent and safe for silence n-ver betrays you. Anna is going to Syracuse to tak- up teaching' but teaching whom and what is the big question. GORDON SHURTLEFF George Clarks Summit' Football 4' Washington Pageant 4. Shurtleff came to our class from a school in Virginia ' '32. Skipping a grade somewhere proves that he knows his studies. He want out for football, and although he didn't make the team, he gave them plenty of practice by being on the scrubs. He made quite a hit with the op- posite sex. They say his DeSoto runs well with a handi- capped driver. His portrayal of Treachery in the Wash- ington Pageant is one which we will remember for various reasons. George has trouble with such words in English as data: even Miss Escott fails to convince him. 12 ,- -- -ff : X I V ' 1- ,Z -uglgi - I X9 -if-1f e, ., it 1 1 2 1 ll - -g- ,L 5-4-315 - - . 4 , ' ' 1. 1- -' will-9 ' ' Wind tl, K I +L.: -an ..- H .4 fl 4 416k - 1' 4 . 1 , Q 1. ff y . is Hi ge' M13 ff 'X . . 1 ' W ll ll!! . f Y 158 1, ,....
