Rainy days after school filled the hallways with the thunder of pound- ing feet and shouts of enthusiasm. Pat Brown and Kelly Pollard both qualified for the state meet in Omaha. Girls Track 35 Pollard Earns Two Medals At State Meet When he was a freshman, Brian Pollard's goal was to qualify for the state track meet all four years. This year brought that dream a little clos- er to reality with his third year as a state qualifier, but this year was a little different in that he brought home two fourth medals — one in pole vault and another in the 300 intermediate hurdles. The boys team earned several medals and honors at many other meets, especially the 1600 meter re- lay team comprised of Shane Strobel, Max Norvell, Brian Pollard and Brent Ksiazek.
