This year the sophomores were just as active or more so than last year. Each student has developed interests in athletics, agriculture, home economics, business, and spirit. To begin the school year, the sophomore boys helped to kick off a very productive season for the football team. Brian received the honor of being unanimously chosen all conference safety. He was also all-area line- backer. Max was awarded honorable mention all-area linebacker. Other notable contributions were made by Dave, starting center; Mike, guard; Kevin, starting no- seguard; Ken, running back; as well as Shawn, student manager; and Bryan, a stat keeper. Kelly and Sarah were football cheerleaders this year. Patty and Annette are supporting our returning wres- tlers Ken, Kevin, and Mike. Patty, Annette, and Susan made contributions to the volleyball team this year. We are proud of their accom- plishments and improvements. The FFA picked up new member Susan. Steve, along with Bryan and Shawn, took their projects to the state fair. Patty, Sarah, and Kelly will attend the FHA State Lead- ership Conference to present their search projects. This year we have had the pleasure of welcoming back a classmate, Shane Meyer. 1. Class officers and sponsors: Mr. Walford; Steve, vice-president; Shawn, presi- dent; Susan, secretary-treasurer; and Mr. Bjorklund. 2. Mike, Max and Ken clean- up in Biology. 3. Steve, Sarah, and Bryan show school spirit by decorating their wall for homecoming. 4. Patty tries to find out what her frog had for lunch.
